Curriculum

Conducts Early Education (Kindergarten) using the Montessori Method, Primary Education (elementary school) uses Cambridge and the Indonesian National Curriculum, Secondary Education (junior high school and high school) using Cambridge and the Indonesian National Curriculum. SDB offers ICAS (International Competition and Assessments for Schools) sponsored by the University of North South Wales, Australia.

CAMBRIDGE PRIMARY DAN KURIKULUM NASIONAL INDONESIA

Bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa kedua

Kurikulum ini mengembangkan peserta didik dalam berbicara, mendengarkan, membaca dan menulis dalam bahasa Inggris.

Hal ini telah dikembangkan bersama dengan Cambridge English Language Assessment dan didasarkan pada Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), digunakan di seluruh dunia untuk memetakan kemajuan peserta didik dalam bahasa Inggris.

Matematika

Kerangka kurikulum Matematika mengeksplorasi lima bidang: bilangan, geometri, mengukur, penanganan data dan pemecahan masalah. Kurikulum ini berfokus pada prinsip-prinsip, sistim pola, fungsi dan hubungan agar peserta didik dapat menerapkan pengetahuan Matematika mereka dan mengembangkan pemahaman pelajaran yang holistis.

Science

Kerangka kurikulum ini mencakup empat bidang konten: penyelidikan ilmiah, biologi, kimia dan fisika. Penyelidikan ilmiah adalah tentang mempertimbangkan ide-ide, mengevaluasi bukti, perencanaan, investigasi, merekam dan menganalisis data. Kesadaran lingkungan dan beberapa sejarah sains juga merupakan bagian dari kurikulum.

Kami telah meninjau kerangka kurikulum Cambridge Primary bersama Kurikulum Nasional. Untuk setiap mata pelajaran, ada ringkasan persamaan dan perbedaan utama antara kedua kurikulum dan gambaran tentang bagaimana tujuan pembelajaran berhubungan dengan deskripsi tingkat Kurikulum Nasional.

Cambridge Primary and Indonesian National Curriculum

English as a second language

This curriculum develops learners’ speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in English. It has been developed in conjunction with Cambridge English Language Assessment and is based on the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), used across the world to map learners’ progress in English.

Mathematics

The mathematics curriculum framework explores five content areas: number, geometry, measure, handling data and problem solving. This curriculum focuses on principles, patterns, systems, functions and relationships so that learners can apply their mathematical knowledge and develop a holistic understanding of the subject.

Science

This curriculum framework covers four content areas: scientific enquiry, biology, chemistry and physics. Scientific enquiry is about considering ideas, evaluating evidence, planning, investigating, recording and analysing data. Environmental awareness and some history of science are also part of the curriculum.

Cambridge Primary is mapped to the Indonesian National Curriculum

For each subject, there is a summary of the key similarities and differences between the two curricula and an overview of how the learning objectives relate to the National Curriculum level descriptors.
